Our Mtsvane is made from Kakhuri Mtsvane grape variety grown in the Kistauri zone of Kakheti region. This artisanal winer is produced by the traditional Qvevri (or Kvevri) method - a 1000 year old uniquely Georgian technique that utilizes a huge clay jar, Qvevri, burried in the ground to allow the wine fermentation and ageing in an even, naturally cool condition with long time skin contact and low interference vinification process. Honey and fruit aromas are mingled with complex flavors of almonds and dried fruits complimented with firm tannins to form a taste so singular yet sophisticated.
