Though originally from France, the Malbec grape has found its home in Argentina, excelling in the country’s warm, dry climate. The sandy and alluvial soils of our Malbec vineyards (Finca Colome and Finca El Arenal) yield small crops which produce deeply colored and concentrated wines capturing the essence of this distinct terroir. They have brought us worldwide recognition in the form of numerous awards and much press coverage. The yields are no more than 8 tons/ha and vines are planted under VSP (Vertical Shooting Position). 50% of the wine did the malolactic fermentation in French barrels while 80% of the wines has been aged for 12 months in French Barrels both new but mainly second use.
